Quick Hit - Carlos Villanueva

Carlos Villanueva has always been a guy on my radar regardless of his role. Inconsistency throughout his career has kept him from staying in any particular Major League rotation and has doomed him to a life of swingman/5th starter/AAA filler waiting in the wings. With the plethora of injuries to the Blue Jays rotation, Villanueva has been forced into the rotation and has done quite well in his last two starts. I'm not sold on Villanueva suddenly finding his groove in his late 20s and becoming a mid-tier rotation guy, but the high strikeout rate make him a match-up play at the very least.
