For the eighth year in a row, I will be participating in one of the CBSsports.com Analyst League auctions, representing the Patton and Company website.
My erstwhile blogging partner John Toczydlowski will tee things off on Monday, February 7 at 1 p.m. in the N.L.-only auction. I will then be competing in the A.L.-only auction on Wednesday, February 9 at 1 p.m.
Regular readers are familiar with these leagues, but for you new readers, these are one-league only leagues that use standard 5x5 auction rules ($260 salary cap, 23-man rosters). There is a seven-man reserve list that is filled after the auction.
Toz and I have had a pretty successful history in this league. The league moved from draft to auction format in 2008 and we both started participating in one league or the other ever since. Toz won the N.L. in 2008, I won the A.L. in 2009, and I won the N.L. again in 2010.
Time permitting, I may Twitter about my results in the A.L. under my MikeGianella user name. The auction is a fast moving online draft, though, so I can't promise anything.

Can you post a link with results when they are done?
Would love to see this to get a feel for how the "experts" are valuing the NL-ers especially (since that's what I play).
