Congrats to Toz...

...on winning our money American League. He had not one but two teams put a scare into him over the last month but managed to hang on for a slim 1 1/2 point victory. Fortunately for him, the league was never really in doubt after around 4 p.m. today...though if you had spoken to Toz he might have told you otherwise.

I'm going to continue doing my awards write-ups this coming week and then might take a short break as I often do this time of year to enjoy the play-offs and World Series. I was in four leagues this year, so I doubt I'm going to do four breakdowns of how I did in each league, but I definitely intend to write about my wonderful experience in Tout Wars and my 3rd title (in seven tries) over at CBS Sports.

I hope you all succeeded this year in your leagues, and I look forward to seeing here over the winter.

Thanks to Sanchez's W and Bourgeois's SB, I finished in second by a half-point. The guy in first won by 8.5, but it was a foregone conclusion since mid-August. Also, that guy owned Tulo, so he had a comfortable September.

So, the one league you probably won't write about is the one in which I miraculously finished higher than you? Shenanigans!

I'd only wind up writing about my team anyway, so your marvelous run at 2nd place (1st place was clinched sometime in April) would not have been mentioned in any event.
