CBS Auctions Next Week

The CBS Sports Analyst Leagues - the grist of many of my pre-season columns - are kicking up again for 2010, with two auctions in two days next week. The N.L. auction is scheduled for Tuesday, February 9 at 1 p.m., while the A.L. auction is going to happen on Wednesday, February 10 at 1 p.m. I plan on attempting one or the other while my mostly M.I.A. blog partner Toz will likely handle the other.

For new readers, we don't do this blog under the Roto Think Tank banner but rather under the Patton and Company one. The leagues started in 2004 as draft leagues and moved to auction format in 2007. Toz and I have been in the leagues since their inception and won titles in 2004 (N.L.), 2008 (N.L.), and 2009 (A.L.).

The league is 5x5, $260 auction limit, 23 players with a seven man reserve round.

I'll post more updates as I get them.
