Like John did yesterday, I'm going to try and do some live blogging around the CBS A.L. auction. I'm snowed in here in Philly with the wife and kids today, though, so this will be catch as catch can.
Joe Mauer was the first player nominated and was bought by Eric Mack (CBS Sports) for $45.
The next 10:
Alex Rodriguez - Crucial Sports (Don Visco) $41.
Mark Teixeira - Crucial Sports $40.
Derek Jeter - CBS Sports - Scott White $30
Miguel Cabrera - Roto Experts (Doug Anderson) $40.
CC Sabathia - CBS Sports - Al Melchior - $32
Evan Longoria - Crucial Sports $38
Garret Atkins - Fantasy Baseball.com - Chris McDonald $11
Jon Papelbon - CBS Mack $23
Victor Martinez - CBS White $30
Nick Markakis - CBS White $28
Price seem a little lower than yesterday, but still expensive, so Toz has wisely not bought a player yet.

CC and Papelbon seem to be priced at a normal 5x5 discount, but pitching goes cheaper in this league if I recall.
Jeter seems at par if the league pushes hitters a little high. Markakis too. Mauer is just stupid high. Even at a 10% overprice to last year's incredible performance he'll never reach that value. VMart is also stupid high.
Keep us posted. Some of us are snowed in looking for entertainment.
My Internet is failing me today, unfortunately.
