According to the Newark (NJ) Star Ledger, the Yankees are talking to the Diamondbacks about trading Randy Johnson back to his old team. No information yet is available on which players would come back in return, though the paper speculates that the Yankees might want prospects back, like they got in the Gary Sheffield deal with Detroit, to shore up their farm system.
